![]() The room was very clean though the fine details could benefit from a little attention (i.e. Since we drove to Hershey Stadium and came back late I was a little concerned we wouldn't have a spot, but we did. There were a few signs around warning that parking was tight and each room was allowed only one spot. She had a few couples ahead of us and she was equally kind and helpful to all of us. A few points: -The woman behind the desk upon check-in was lovely. Initial impressions were exactly as others have described: not so hopeful on the outside but clean on the inside. Grabbed a Sunday night reservation for a concert in the area - upon check-in it seemed that many others had the same idea. Thank you to the staff for responding to our needs so quick. ![]() Maybe a reference card for the tv channels? It worked for us, our needs and our budget. We did 6 in the area and there were still more depending how far you wanted to drive. Nothing fancy, just the name & address so you could put in your phone and be on the way. As a couple that enjoys wineries, it might be helpful to have a list of wineries in the area. They have a rack with all the little cards for many of the attractions in the area. I think it was a very good value for the money and the location was central to what we wanted to do, antique browsing, wineries and a candy run to Chocolate World, had to get some treats to bring home to the grand kids. It is a great location, just a couple of miles to the main Hershey attractions. We did rely on it as we opted to do breakfast in our room each morning since we had a fridge and microwave in our room. Location wise a few places for lunch, and dinner that you could walk to. Nothing we could do about that, part of staying in a hotel. There was a baby nearby our first two nights. Some noise from our neighbors beside and above us. Yes, some noise could be heard outside of our room from other guests passing by after 11 PM. Noise wise, right off the busy Chocolate Avenue and near the medical center. Our total rounded up for the 3 Nights was $344. The room was reasonable for the area, especially over a weekend. Inquired about other places to eat and they gave us some ideas. If you don't ask they can't help right? The staff was pleasant, helpful and couldn't be nicer. I could of inquired I guess but we managed. Towels could have been a bit better, a third bath towel would have been nice. After we had just switched the trash bags one of the gals came by apologized for being behind. My husband again went to the front desk and they supplied him with bags and fresh towels. But they were working through rooms, Sunday check outs and lots of rooms needed tended to. When we returned from being out all day on Sunday our room hadn't been serviced yet. We did need trash emptied and towels after day 2 and we requested when we headed out for the day. Housekeeping was by request for towels etc. One of the gals from the front desk returned with my husband when he went to inquire about no signal. Imagine that! A non smoking room that did not smell of smoke, refreshing! We had issues with our tv because previous visitors probably had it connected to video game. Bed was comfortable, it was roomy, the little reading lights on either side of the bed were nice, it was clean and it did not smell of cigarettes. The room looked just like their website photo. We had a Non Smoking, King Handicapped room # 105- right across from elevator, with fridge and microwave. We are an older couple and while I don't need full blown handicap access I do rely on the safety rails and easy access to shower due to mobility issues. The park, Giant Center, Hershey attractions. I also want to add it is not an easy task finding a decent hotel in the Hershey area that is budget friendly due to the fact that something is always happening there. You enter the lobby on ground level and there is an elevator to 1 &2. I will chime in with the bulk, the outside could use a face lift.
